AIA Conference Refund Policy

While it is important to the Association to be able to retain as much revenue as possible from conference fees, sponsorships, and exhibits, it is just as important that we deliver value. We are literally meeting these new challenges on the fly, creating and modifying as we go. Thus far:

  • Virtual CIE education classes will be conducted with a full 8 hours of CE credits.
  • Virtual CLE education classes will be conducted with a full 8 hours of CE credits.
  • Keynote Speaker Series will be held throughout May.
  • Weekly AIA Happy hour each Tuesday at 5 Eastern.
  • The AIA Training Data Base is close to being a reality. See Members Only section of the website for updates.
  • The Spring Issue of the AIA Virtual Binder to be published soon and distributed to everyone whose contact information we have in our data base.
  • Potential Queueing up at The Virtual AIA. Looking at the feasibility of continuing the popular Queueing up at the AIA – a virtual Zoom meeting with individual underwriting companies.

The AIA needs the support of our members now more than ever. We hope we are providing the value that will entice you to let us retain your Conference Fee, Exhibit fee, and/or Sponsorship contributions.

Trade Exhibit Fee, or Sponsorship for a full page ad in the Virtual Binder with over 3000 (and growing) distribution to Aviation Insurance Professionals worldwide.

Partial Conference Fee Refund. The cost of the CIE or CLE classes plus the Keynote Speaker Series is $295. We will refund the remaining portion of your Conference fee OR,

AIA Retains your full Conference Fee and you can invite another attendee to the CIE or CLE class the was not registered for the conference.

Donate Your Conference Fee, Exhibit Fee or Sponsorship to show your support of the organization as we continue to develop more educational opportunities for AIA members and member companies.

Full Refund. If you want a full refund, please send an email to Mandie@aiaweb.org. Please keep in mind that she must cut a check and put it in the mail, but it is our goal to have your refund to you within two weeks of your request.

The AIA is using the retained revenue to help fund programs and initiative to make the AIA better and stronger. We are using this unprecedented time to make significant changes to how we communicate and provide better value to our members, attract old members back into the fold, and new members who wish to use the AIA as a foundation to their career growth in the industry.

Together, we can be better and stronger.

Be Well
