The AIA’s Core Principles & Concepts course is an important step in achieving the designation of Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP). This two-day program covers everything from risk management, aviation insurance law and contracts, hull and liability, CGL, claims, and much more. Case studies are also reviewed and discussed to assist students in connecting course material with the real world. To make Core Principles available to aviation insurance professionals everywhere, AIA will again be offering this course both in-person and virtually this August. Interaction with the instructors is a vital component of this program, so attendance will be limited for both in-person and virtual attendees.

In-Person Attendees (20 students maximum): Core Principles will be hosted by AIA Member AIG in Atlanta, Georgia (3500 Lenox Road, Suite 1100, Atlanta, GA, 30326). The class location is approximately 20 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Breakfast and lunch provided for onsite attendees both days.

Hotel Accommodations: Information about discounted hotel accommodations will be released in early Summer.

Virtual Attendees (20 students maximum): The course will also be live-streamed via TEAMS meeting. You must have a webcam and microphone available for this course so you can interact with the instructors. If you will be requesting CIE credits for this course, various state requirements must be met to verify participation.
